Job Description
We are looking to add an experienced Project Engineer to our engineering team at the Wotton facility. As we look to adapt our current facility to become a Centre of Excellence for injection moulding, we need a Project Engineer to help with our improvement activities.
As Project Engineer, you are responsible for organizing, scheduling and managing multiple company projects simultaneously. You will observe company deadlines and coordinate the tasks to ensure timely project completion.

The Manufacturing Engineering team comprises of Tooling Engineers, Process Improvement Engineer, Product Engineer and Tool Makers.
Responsibilities
Reviewing potential projects for the site including the design of manufacturing or processing facilities, either new or modifications to and expansions of existing facility layouts.
Prioritising projects by benefit to the organisation.
Project tasks consist of such things as performing calculations, writing specifications, preparing bids, reviewing equipment proposals, and evaluating or selecting equipment. Including creating drawings such as physical layouts and other drawings used in design of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Negotiate with suppliers or contractors to get the best prices for any projects, equipment, or services.
Prepare and maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
Coordinating cross functional activities for projects that get approved & producing project plans that can be used to monitor, project performance and deadlines against key milestones
For customer facing projects, you will work with the Engineering, Product Management & Commercial teams to produce compelling bids that help us to win contracts.
Investigate unsuccessful bids both internal and external, so that we can learn from these and ensure future success.
Experience
+5 years in an engineering discipline preferably project engineering or Manufacturing engineering
Experience of working in the Injection moulding industry or Life science product manufacturing is preferred but not essential
Prolific user of Microsoft Office, especially Project, Excel & Visio
Someone that can work within a team and in isolation
Very good Organisation & Communication skills
