About The Role
The Apprentice Developer will work closely with members of the product team to learn and contribute to the design and development of world class loan datasets that support the automation of leveraged loan processes. This includes assisting with the implementation of software specifications, participating in code reviews, and learning software development best practices throughout the production life cycle. The apprentice will support the team in maintaining existing operational products and contribute to new features under the guidance of senior developers.
Key Responsibilities Include
Assist in transforming business requirements into technical solutions that support the leveraged loan industry
Learn and contribute to cloud-based application development and maintenance
Support the development of data mastering systems for the syndicated loan market
Write and maintain code in programming languages such as C# while following established coding standards and best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions
Learn and apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles including requirements analysis, design, testing, and deployment
Document code, processes, and technical specifications as required
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and continuous learning activities

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a B.E or B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/IT
Strong academic record with a passion for software development
Demonstrated interest in technology and problem-solving
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
Be legally eligible to work for the duration of the program in the country for which you apply
For Apprentice Developer Applicants, We Recommend The Following
Knowledge of or experience with Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Familiarity with C# or other .Net technologies is preferred
Basic understanding of database concepts and MS SQL query language is preferred
Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is desirable
Basic knowledge of software design principles and patterns is a plus
Eagerness to learn cloud technologies such as AWS
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
