Stoneblower Field Service Engineer - Location - Swindon Area

JOB PURPOSE
To complete planned VMI activities on the Stoneblower Fleet to maximise availability and reliability
Carry out repairs on the Stoneblower fleet to competency levels
Support the Stoneblower Field Service Manager in achieving desired targets and KPI’s
Complete assessments as required by the Field Service Manager
KEY RESULT AREAS
Quality maintenance of the Stoneblower fleet
All maintenance completed in line with the maintenance plan
All FAMS administration completed on time
On time completion of competence assessments
Achieve targets as outlined in company safety plan
Achieve 5S target score for field service
Van stock accuracy
Quality of documentation
Compliance with all company policies & procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental
Qualifications & Managerial Experience
Is likely to be time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
Personal Track Safety
Hold an assessor’s qualification
Technical Skills
Knowledge & understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, electronic, fault finding & repair
IT literate including knowledge of Microsoft systems
Calibration & understanding of rail plant operating
Competent in current maintenance standards
Problem Solving and identifying solutions
