Modular Kitchen Designer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are looking for a skilled Designer to convert client requirements into accurate, production-ready designs for Kitchen, Wardrobe and Vanity projects from initial concept through to final technical drawings and documentation while adhering to defined timelines and quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Project Intake & Requirement Clarity: Receive and validate project briefs, layouts, AutoCAD files, and PDFs from Sales; confirm requirements, site measurements, and constraints.
-Concept Design Development: Create initial designs using AutoCAD/Winner 3D, ensuring designs meet client requirements, ergonomics, and feasibility.
-Internal Design Review & Coordination: Participate in design reviews with the Design Manager and incorporate feedback in coordination with the Sales team.
-Post-Closure Design Accuracy: Update designs based on final site measurements and ensure alignment with actual site conditions.
-Technical Drawing (EPT) Preparation: Prepare detailed Elevation, Plan, and Section drawings using AutoCAD/Winner.
-Documentation Consistency: Update quotations, presentations and supporting documents after design revisions.
-Final Production Design Preparation: Prepare final production-ready drawings and documents for release.
-Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Sales, Estimation, Production and Execution teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
-BOM & Accessories List Preparation: Prepare accurate Bill of Materials and accessories lists for each project.
-Timeline Adherence & Quality: Deliver all outputs within defined timelines while maintaining high design quality and following SOPs.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES
EDUCATION:
-Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
-1–3 years of relevant experience in modular furniture / interior design
-Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Winner Software / Winner 3D is preferred
SKILLS & QUALITIES:
-Proficiency in AutoCAD and Winner Software / Winner 3D for concept and technical design
-Ability to validate project briefs, layouts and site measurements against client requirements
-Strong technical drawing skills (Elevation, Plan, and Section / EPT)
-Ability to prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and accessories lists
-Good coordination skills with Sales, Estimation, Production and Execution teams
-Knowledge of modular kitchen design, layouts, finishes and materials is an advantage
-Attention to detail for documentation consistency (quotations, presentations)
-Ability to work within defined timelines and follow SOPs
-Proactive, detail-oriented and quality-focused approach
