Mozantech is a Tech Company from Porto specialized in Web Digital Experiences.
Our team is able to deliver high-tech solutions, consulting, turn-key projects and nearshoring. We develop projects for different markets such as banking, finance, insurance, industry, networks, telecommunications, services, utilities and distribution.
What you will do:
Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS services.
Optimize Apache Iceberg tables, including compaction, retention, and performance tuning.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with domain teams to implement scalable ELT patterns, orchestration workflows, and data engineering best practices.
Support release management, CI/CD processes, and SDLC deliverables.
What we are looking for:
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon EMR.
Experience with Apache Iceberg, data lakehouse architectures, pipeline orchestration, and distributed data processing (Spark/PySpark).
Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data pipeline optimization, troubleshooting, and CI/CD practices.
Mandatory:
Strong practical experience with AWS data engineering services.
At least a B2 level in English (spoken and written).
