Your role
At Saab, Common Tech drives the Polaris strategy, our shared direction for accelerating customer value through software, data and AI.
A key part of this work is delivered through Polaris Frontrunners; strategically important, software-intensive initiatives across Saab's Business Units and product portfolio. These engagements help accelerate customer value while contributing to the evolution of Saab's shared software, data and AI capabilities.
The initiatives vary in scope and focus, ranging from enabling new technology capabilities to supporting the evolution of complex software-intensive products, systems and solutions.

You will ensure the right people, capabilities and decisions come together to move initiatives forward.
Operating at the intersection of technology, business and strategy, you will help transform opportunities into outcomes, enabling both immediate business value and long-term capability development across Saab.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and orchestrating Polaris Frontrunner engagements from qualification through execution and value realisation
Creating alignment between Business Units, Frontrunner teams and Common Tech to ensure progress towards shared objectives
Coordinating Common Tech contributions, maintaining the Frontrunner roadmap and securing commitments from relevant delivery teams
Driving the follow-up of deliveries, proactively managing risks, dependencies and obstacles to maintain momentum
Facilitating planning activities, governance forums and decision-making processes across multiple stakeholders
Communicating progress, priorities and escalation needs to leadership, while advocating for Frontrunner objectives across Common Tech

Experience from product development environments within industrial or other technically advanced organisations
Experience leading initiatives in matrix or decentralised organisations, where success depends on influencing and aligning stakeholders across multiple teams
Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
The ability to bridge technology and business, translating technical challenges and opportunities into strategic direction and business value
Professional proficiency in English
