About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Architect with advanced Autodesk Revit skills to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed architectural BIM models, managing architectural deliverables, and coordinating with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and other relevant disciplines.
We need someone who can take ownership of assigned projects, identify and resolve technical issues, maintain model quality, and deliver accurate, well-coordinated models and documentation with minimal supervision.
This role requires more than Revit modelling skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural design, construction detailing, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination, along with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
The position is fully remote, with occasional site visits when required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain detailed architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
Manage architectural BIM deliverables from model development through coordination and technical documentation.
Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and other relevant disciplines.
Manage BIM coordination activities and resolve conflicts between different disciplines.
Identify and address model clashes, design inconsistencies, modelling errors, and technical issues.
Produce accurate architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details directly from Revit models.
Develop detailed building components, assemblies, and architectural elements in line with design intent and project requirements.
Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and organisation in accordance with project requirements and established BIM standards.
Review coordinated models to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and potential construction or installation issues.
Keep models and documentation updated in line with the latest design information and coordination decisions.
Work confidently with both Imperial and Metric measurement systems.
Identify potential problems early and recommend practical solutions to improve modelling and coordination workflows.
Manage assigned tasks independently, communicate progress clearly, and meet agreed deadlines.
Attend site visits when required to verify site conditions, review ongoing works, investigate technical issues, and ensure consistency between the BIM model, design documentation, and actual site conditions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
A qualified Architect with current professional registration with ARCON.
6–10 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, Revit modelling, technical documentation, and BIM delivery.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including complex modelling, model management, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience managing architectural BIM deliverables and coordinating models across multiple disciplines.
Ability to produce detailed, accurate, and well-coordinated Revit models with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, building assemblies, technical detailing, and constructability.
Practical experience with BIM coordination, model federation, clash detection, and issue resolution.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and design information accurately.
Understanding of BIM standards, model quality control, and project information management.
Experience working with both Imperial and Metric units.
Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to make sound technical decisions independently.
Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Willingness and availability to attend occasional project site visits when required.
