CNC Turning Operator

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Turning Operator to join our manufacturing team for
precision machining of defence and aerospace components. The candidate will be responsible
for operating CNC turning machines, setting up tooling, and ensuring the production of high-
precision parts as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC Turning / CNC Lathe machines for production of precision
components.
Coordinate with CNC programmers and supervisors for program or process
corrections.
Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Identify and report machine issues, tool wear, or dimensional deviations.
Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as:
Vernier calipers
Micrometers
Bore gauges
Height gauges
Shop Floor Discipline & Documentation
Maintain machine cleanliness and basic machine maintenance.
Record production data and inspection reports as required.
Required Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Machinist, Turner, or Mechanical Engineering.
2–6 years of experience operating CNC turning machines.
Prior experience in Defense, Aerospace, or precision engineering industries will
be preferred.
