Product Owner

Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive clarity, validate solutions, and confirm expected outcomes; challenge ambiguity and drive to documented decisions.
Break down large initiatives into traceable features and work packages, progressing discovery initiatives through to backlog-ready items.
Jira & Backlog Management
Own the creation, quality, and maintenance of all Jira epics, features, and user stories, ensuring clear traceability from strategic objectives to delivery tasks.
Ensure all tickets are actionable, prioritized, and meet DoR standards before development and DoD standards on completion; maintain accuracy of workflows, dependencies, and milestones.
Size epics appropriately (1–3 quarters/PIs) and features appropriately (1–3 iterations); monitor backlog health continuously across all assigned workstreams.
Own and maintain multiple team backlogs; lead refinement activities, map features to agile teams, and make trade-off decisions informed by portfolio-level priorities.
Delivery Planning & Coordination
Coordinate delivery planning across multiple agile teams, working with Scrum Masters, RTEs, Technical Leads, and engineers to determine team ownership, estimates, and sequencing.
Schedule and facilitate PI Objective alignment meetings; track progress of epics, features, and stories from inception to validated delivery.
Produce regular reporting on progress, risks, and blockers; escalate impediments proactively with the RTE; support technical strategy alignment with the Delivery Lead and Architects.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the central coordination point between the Product Manager, Business Owners, Data Engineering, delivery teams, and technical leadership.
Engage stakeholders proactively to define value, validate outcomes, and keep the backlog aligned to current priorities; communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly and regularly.
Quality & Value Realization
Confirm story completion against acceptance criteria; support stakeholder validation of delivered outcomes against requirements and expected business value.
Maintain concise documentation and release artifacts; promote high standards of requirements quality and delivery governance.

Education & Experience
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, business, marketing, data analytics, or related field.
5+ years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Delivery Analyst role with accountability for requirements definition, backlog ownership, and delivery coordination.
Advanced hands-on Jira experience for planning, tracking, and dependency management across multiple teams.
Experience in Agile and/or SAFe environments including PI planning, backlog refinement, and cross-team coordination.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.
Strong SDLC understanding; experience working directly with engineers, architects, and technical leads.
Preferred
Experience in Marketing Technology, CRM, CDP, marketing automation, or Data Engineering.
Experience in enterprise technology delivery alongside product owners, RTEs, and technical architecture teams.
Relevant certification: SAFe POPM, CSPO, PSPO, Agile BA, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or AgilePM.
