Position: Pod lead - Civil and structural engineering
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15 - $20/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Start Date: Immediately
Role Responsibilities
Review engineering tasks for technical correctness and reproducibility
Validate tasks involving diverse engineering modeling and methods
Ensure tasks reflect realistic engineering workflows and reasoning
Verify accuracy across key engineering parameters and codes
Review automated graders for meaningful engineering evaluations
Provide feedback to task developers and track revisions
Mentor and support trainers, monitor quality and productivity
Requirements
Ph.D. or advanced technical experience in Civil Engineering
Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
Hands-on expertise in structural analysis or geotechnical modeling
Understanding of engineering principles and simulation workflows
Experience reviewing complex technical work and simulations
Excellent written communication for technical feedback
Experience mentoring or leading small technical teams
