Histhopath Technician

Receive, identify, label, and register tissue specimens accurately.
Perform tissue processing, dehydration, clearing, and paraffin wax infiltration.
Embed tissue specimens in paraffin wax blocks.
Perform microtomy and prepare thin tissue sections for microscopic examination.
Conduct routine Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining and special stains as required.
Assist with immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures, where applicable.
Prepare, label, and maintain microscope slides and tissue blocks.
Operate, clean, and maintain histopathology laboratory equipment.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control protocols, and laboratory safety guidelines.
Handle chemicals, biological specimens, and laboratory waste safely.
Maintain accurate records of specimen processing, staining, and quality control.
Monitor reagents, consumables, and laboratory inventory.
Coordinate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens.
