This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
The Device Layer Management (DLM) team works on multiple applications related to lab automation. You will assist in maintaining and enhancing that suite of tools. All of the tools are web portal-based and are written in a variety of languages; principally Ruby and Python. Every member of our team gains experience in developing, debugging and testing these applications.
The DLM Team provides application support and development for all of the Engineering labs in the Networking organization. The team also provides support to a number of Technical Support labs in HPE.
By joining this highly experienced development team and you will:
Develop RESTful microservices
Gain experience in all aspects of the development process
Support a user base of over 5K internal users
Learn advanced development and code management techniques
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of Python - required
Experience developing AI applications- required
General Computer Networking understanding – required
Relation database experience – Nice to have
Ruby-on-rail experience – Nice to have
