Senior PHP Engineer - Checkout - Pre-Confirmation (all genders)

Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices (PHP/Laravel/Symfony) powering the checkout experience
Build event-driven pipelines using AWS SNS/SQS for asynchronous payment, order, and inventory processing
Optimize database queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and Redis cache layers to handle massive traffic spikes smoothly
Write automated tests, review pull requests, and advocate for sustainable architecture and clean code
Collaborate daily with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-impact improvements in short sprints
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and balance long-term code health with pragmatic product delivery
6+ years of backend development experience with senior-level ownership
PHP 8.x mastery using Laravel, Symfony, or modern enterprise frameworks
Relational database & caching skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)
API & microservice design with OpenAPI/Swagger standards
Asynchronous processing experience using SNS/SQS
Containerization & CI/CD workflow knowledge (Docker, Git, GitLab CI)
Fluent English with transparent, solution-oriented communication
Nice To Have:
Background in e-commerce, checkout flows, or payment processor integrations.
Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and application observability/monitoring tools.
