Role Description The Branch Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing daily branch operations and ensuring smooth service delivery. This role includes managing and mentoring branch staff, setting performance goals, and monitoring key metrics related to sales, customer satisfaction, and compliance. The Branch Head will coordinate outreach activities, develop local strategies to grow the customer base, and ensure accurate communication of Affordable Care Act and health insurance information. Additional responsibilities include resolving escalated customer issues, maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, and preparing regular reports on branch performance for senior management.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in branch management, team leadership, or supervisory roles, preferably in insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
Strong skills in customer service, relationship management, and conflict resolution to support diverse individuals and families.
Ability to develop and execute local business plans, including sales targets, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
Knowledge of health insurance concepts and regulations; familiarity with Affordable Care Act guidelines is an advantage.
Proficiency in basic office software, data tracking, and reporting tools to monitor performance and ensure data accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages used in Chennai is beneficial.
Proven ability to work on-site, make informed decisions under pressure, and coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, healthcare management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
