Informatica IDQ & Reltio MDM Developer – Product Master

Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for implementing data quality, cleansing,
standardization, matching, enrichment, and mastering solutions for enterprise product data.
The role will work closely with business, data governance, integration, and application teams to establish a trusted
Golden Record / Golden Product and ensure high-quality product information across downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities
Informatica IDQ
• Design and develop data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Build data profiling, cleansing, standardization, validation, matching, and exception-handling rules.
• Develop reusable data quality mappings and rules for product master attributes.
• Perform profiling to identify completeness, conformity, uniqueness, validity, and consistency issues.
• Implement business rules for attributes such as:
– Product/SKU ID
– Product name and description
– Brand
– Category and subcategory
– Manufacturer
– UOM
– Packaging
– Dimensions and weight
– Product status
– Country/region-specific attributes
• Monitor data quality metrics and support remediation of data-quality issues.
Reltio MDM
• Configure and develop Reltio MDM solutions for Product Master.
• Define and maintain entity types, attributes, relationships, reference data, validation rules, and survivorship
rules.
• Configure match and merge rules to identify duplicate product records.
• Implement survivorship strategies to determine the most trusted source and attribute values.
• Support creation and maintenance of the Golden Product Record.
• Work with Reltio APIs and integration mechanisms for inbound and outbound data flows.
• Troubleshoot data mastering, matching, merging, and integration issues.
Product Master / Product MDM
• Understand the complete product data lifecycle, from source onboarding → quality validation →
standardization → matching → mastering → publishing.
• Work with product hierarchies and taxonomy, including category/subcategory structures.
• Define product master data standards and mandatory attributes.
• Support duplicate-product identification and product consolidation.
• Manage cross-reference between enterprise Product IDs/SKUs and source-system identifiers.
• Ensure product master data complies with established data governance standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Data Stewards for exception resolution and approvals.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate
Strong Informatica IDQ & Reltio MDM Developer Profile with Product Master Data Management background
Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have minimum 5+ years of experience in MDM / Data Quality development
Mandatory (Tech skill 1): Must have hands-on Informatica IDQ (building profiling, cleansing, and matching rules)
Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Must have hands-on Reltio MDM (configuring entity types, survivorship, and match/merge rules)
Mandatory (Skill 1): Must be able to implement data quality rules for product attributes like SKU ID, Brand, and UOM
Mandatory (Skill 2): Must be able to work with Reltio APIs and integration mechanisms for data flows
Mandatory (Skill 3): Must have strong knowledge of Data profiling, cleansing, and standardization
Mandatory (Skill 4): Must have strong knowledge of Data governance and Reference data
Mandatory (Domain): Must have experience in Product Master Data Management (hierarchies, taxonomy, and Golden Record creation)
Mandatory (Note): Must be an immediate joiner and willing to work in a hybrid model across India
Experience: 5–7 years · Hybrid, 3 days in office · 5 days a week · Notice period up to 30 days · Also in: Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Gurugram, Chennai
