LIMO is a Saudi ride-hailing platform scaling across the Kingdom, starting from Jeddah and expanding into additional Saudi cities to cover the whole kingdom. As we grow, we are strengthening our technology delivery, platform reliability, and engineering governance.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Technical / Engineering Delivery Point of Contact to act as the local technical bridge between LIMO's Saudi business/product/operations local teams and our remote engineering/developers team abroad.
This is not a pure developer role. You will provide hands-on technical oversight, validate delivery, manage engineering execution, ensure release quality, oversee infrastructure reliability and scalability to comply with future strategic growth , and give leadership an independent view of technology performance and risks.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical/development tasks and acceptance criteria.
Monitor daily and sprint-level engineering delivery, timelines, dependencies, and blockers.
Independently validate completed work through staging, API testing, QA evidence, PR/code review, and production behavior.
Own release-readiness and production deployment governance.
Oversee cloud infrastructure, servers, hosting environments, and production configurations, ensuring availability, performance, security, and reliability.
Monitor platform performance, stability, crashes, API errors, database performance, dispatch reliability, server health, and incidents.
Ensure infrastructure scalability and readiness for increasing traffic, concurrent users, and real-time dispatch activity as LIMO expands across Saudi Arabia.
Coordinate critical incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis with the remote engineering team.
Review architecture, scalability, technical debt, security risks, and single points of failure.
Ensure appropriate infrastructure monitoring, alerting, backups, disaster recovery, and rollback procedures.
Track engineering KPIs and provide weekly delivery/stability reports and monthly performance reviews.
Monitor infrastructure KPIs, including platform uptime, server resource utilization, API response times, infrastructure reliability, and incident recovery time.
Challenge delays, quality issues, infrastructure risks, and unsupported completion claims and escalate where necessary.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of software/technology experience, including 5+ years as a minimum in SaaS Technical Lead, Engineering supervision, Technical Program Lead, Delivery POC, or similar roles.
Experience managing or coordinating remote/offshore engineering teams.
Strong understanding of Python/Django or equivalent, REST APIs, SQL, Redis, queues, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
Practical experience with Kotlin and Android development, including Android architecture, application releases, debugging, and production issue analysis.
Practical experience with Swift and iOS development, including iOS architecture, application releases, debugging, and production issue analysis.
Experience with mobile backend and platform services such as Firebase, including Firebase Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Authentication, and related services.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Cloudflare, or equivalent hosting and edge-networking environments, including server administration, DNS, CDN, WAF, caching, security, and infrastructure monitoring.
Understanding of scalability, load balancing, caching, database optimization, CI/CD, backups, disaster recovery, and mobile application deployment processes.
Working knowledge of Android and iOS development and release processes, including Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect.
Strong Agile/Scrum and Jira/ClickUp/GitHub experience.
Able to read code, review technical changes, inspect logs, and understand production issues across backend, mobile, and infrastructure layers.
Experience with QA, CI/CD, monitoring, crash reporting, observability, and incident management.
Strong English communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Arabic Language speakers are Highly Preferred.
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, i.e. ride-hailing, delivery, grocery,marketplaces, real-time dispatch/geolocation platforms, or similar high-volume transactional environments.
Success in This Role
You will be measured by delivery, quality, stability, scalability, and outcomes — not hours logged or lines of code.
Key KPIs include:
On-time delivery, sprint completion, cycle time, production defects, mobile crash/error rates, API performance, platform uptime, infrastructure reliability, Firebase and mobile-service reliability, load-test readiness, incident resolution, release success, and recurring-incident reduction.
