Business Development Manager

My name is Patrik Lännerberg, and I am looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to help shape the future of our relations with one of Telia Cygates largest Customers.
At Telia Cygate, we are continuously investing in optimizing our business, and we are now looking for someone who wants to play a key role in identifying new opportunities, driving growth, and helping us take the next step as a provider of IT services and products with our largest Customer.
The role carries clear sales responsibility, with a focus on strategic sales and stakeholder management, and you will have your own sales budget.

What you will do
If you want a role where you have a real opportunity to make an impact, work close to the business with business development, and take an active role in creating business opportunities, this is the right job for you. The Business Project Manager position is completely new and aims to create profitability improvements within Telia Sweden. You will work to optimize business opportunities and flows in order to create economies of scale and strengthen profitability. Since the role is new, you will have the opportunity to help shape its content yourself. Your responsibilities will be varied but clearly defined, and a selection is listed below:
You will play a significant role in business opportunities where there is substantial potential and many points of contact, both internally and externally.
You contribute your business acumen to qualify relevant business opportunities, identify value, and optimize business flows. You lead the work of turning this into concrete business with profitability and customer value in focus.
Your knowledge of contracts, calculations, and pricing creates added value, and you develop processes and models in and around the business opportunities. You have a holistic view of the business and will work both strategically and operationally.
You operate by building relationships across all business areas and at all levels. Together with different stakeholders, you work long-term to establish optimal flows and sustainable profitability for the parties.
What will help you thrive in this role
We are looking for someone who has likely worked successfully with similar tasks for several years. You are well acquainted with stakeholder management in complex organizations and understand different business models and their financial conditions. You value collaboration and have a strong ability to coordinate resources and lead temporarily assembled teams from different parts of the organization.
Your analytical ability will be highly valuable in your work to find successful business solutions. We also know that commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the external environment are important success factors. Your structured and planning-oriented approach, together with your conscientiousness and drive to move things forward, creates a profile we believe will succeed in this exciting role.
You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, technology, or project management. In addition, you have at least five years of relevant experience from working in a medium-sized or large service company. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
