Role Description The Content Writer (Medical) internship is a remote role focused on creating clear, accurate, and engaging educational content for medical and pharma learners. Day-to-day tasks include researching medical topics, drafting and editing articles, study notes, and web pages, and aligning content with HK Technical’s learning objectives and style guidelines. The intern will adapt complex medical concepts into accessible language, optimize web content for readability and search, and support the development of materials for B.Pharmacy, B.Sc. Nursing, and related programs. Collaboration with educators, subject-matter experts, and the digital team will be required to ensure content accuracy and consistency across platforms. This internship offers practical experience in medical writing, digital education, and content development within an innovative Ed-Tech environment.
Qualifications
Ability to perform thorough Research on medical, pharma, and nursing topics and synthesize information from credible scientific and academic sources.
Strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills, with the capacity to explain complex concepts in clear, learner-friendly language.
Competence in Proofreading and basic Editing to ensure accuracy, coherence, grammar, and consistent terminology.
Experience or interest in Content Strategy, including organizing learning materials, structuring modules, and aligning content with educational objectives.
Background or ongoing studies in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related health or science discipline.
Familiarity with evidence-based medical information, journal articles, and standard clinical or academic references.
Comfort with remote work, time management, and meeting deadlines in a digital-first environment.
Basic understanding of online learning platforms, quizzes, and digital examination tools is an advantage.
Good written communication skills in English and attention to detail; prior experience in medical or academic writing is a plus.
