About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

At Revere Health, we believe there is a better path to healing and healthcare maintenance, and we’re working on this mission—one patient at a time. We’re a national leader in a movement called value-base care which aims to improve treatment outcomes and keep costs down. Our internal culture is one that promotes respect and consistently recognizes the impact that individual employees have on the mission of the organization.
Lead the Development of an Exceptional Endoscopy Program
Revere Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Endoscopy Services, RN to provide clinical and operational leadership for our office-based endoscopy lab in Provo.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished endoscopy nurse leader to help build and shape a high-quality program from the ground up. The Director will lead the full patient-care experience, from scheduling and pre-procedure preparation through recovery, discharge, and pathology follow-up. This individual will also oversee the essential clinical systems that support safe, efficient care, including sedation practices, endoscope reprocessing, infection prevention, emergency readiness, staff competency, quality reporting, and regulatory compliance.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will be visible and engaged in daily operations, comfortable working alongside the clinical team, and prepared to support patient care when volume or staffing needs require it.
What You Will Do
Direct daily clinical and operational activities across procedure rooms, pre-procedure areas, recovery, reprocessing, scheduling, and front-office functions.
Recruit, develop, schedule, and lead a multidisciplinary team of registered nurses, GI technicians, reprocessing technicians, recovery staff, and administrative team members.
Establish and maintain clinical policies, patient-safety protocols, sedation standards, emergency-response procedures, and staff competency programs.
Lead the endoscope reprocessing and infection-prevention programs, ensuring adherence to applicable professional standards and manufacturer instructions.
Maintain a survey-ready environment and support compliance with licensing, accreditation, quality, privacy, workplace-safety, and device-reporting requirements.
Build and oversee the center’s quality assessment and performance-improvement program, including quality indicator tracking, event review, patient-experience measurement, and improvement initiatives.
Partner with the Medical Director of Endoscopy on clinical standards, quality reporting, and physician performance data.
Manage staffing, budgets, supplies, vendor relationships, equipment planning, and cost-per-case reporting.
Improve patient access, scheduling, room utilization, on-time starts, turnover, recovery flow, and preparation processes.
Foster a culture in which employees are encouraged to raise safety concerns and participate actively in continuous improvement.
Exercise authority to pause a case, room, or schedule when patient safety, reprocessing integrity, sedation coverage, or emergency readiness is in question.
Required Qualifications
Current, unencumbered Utah registered nurse license or multistate compact privilege eligible for practice in Utah.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an associate degree in nursing with a commitment to complete a BSN within three years of hire.
At least five years of registered nursing experience, including three years in gastroenterology or endoscopy within a hospital, ambulatory surgery center, or office-based lab.
At least two years of formal supervisory or charge nurse experience involving hiring, scheduling, and employee evaluation.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Demonstrated competency in moderate sedation administration and monitoring, including airway management and rescue.
Working knowledge of flexible endoscope reprocessing standards and the ability to evaluate and audit a reprocessing program.
Experience with regulatory surveys, accreditation, or formal quality reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse, or willingness to pursue certification within the designated eligibility period.
Certified Endoscope Reprocessor credential or experience supervising certified reprocessing professionals.
Experience developing or opening an endoscopy center or ambulatory surgery center.
Experience with ambulatory accreditation requirements and endoscopy quality registries.
Master’s degree in nursing, health administration, business administration, or a related field.
Experience working in a physician-owned or independent medical practice environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a confident clinical leader who combines sound judgment with a collaborative leadership style. This individual can establish clear expectations, address concerns in real time, use data to guide decisions, and maintain productive relationships with physicians and staff. Strong written communication, discretion, operational discipline, and a willingness to intervene when safety or quality is at risk are essential.
Join Revere Health and help build an endoscopy program defined by clinical excellence, operational reliability, and an unwavering commitment to patient safety.
