Job Description
Job Purpose
The SAP Technical Product Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership across the global SAP application portfolio supporting Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Physical Logistics business capabilities.
This role owns the technical governance, standards, lifecycle management, knowledge management, and long-term evolution of the SAP application landscape, ensuring applications remain secure, supportable, standardized, and aligned with business strategy and enterprise architecture.
Working closely with Product Managers, Senior Solution Architects, Enterprise Architecture, Application Delivery teams, Platform Engineering, and Business stakeholders, the SAP Technical Product Lead provides technical direction, assesses new business demand, establishes technical standards, and drives continuous improvement across the SAP application portfolio. The role acts as the technical authority for the application landscape, balancing innovation with operational stability while enabling the organization’s long-term digital transformation
Key Responsibilities
Play Design Authority role for the OTC/PL in the Product team level, assessing impacts and approving all the initiatives that are going to be related to products and services on this product team.
Manage the demand with the business (CIPs, projects, major incidents, special requests), including address Escalation of incidents/requests/problems/demands from business
Involvement on transformational programs/projects to provide functional and technical expertise, collaborating with since the design until go live of products, including Service Introduction role when needed
Seek highly automated solutions and new approaches to work for OTC/PL
Partnership with Product Owner and/or Functional Experts on continuous improvement, evolution of the product and Lifecycle management
Service management with 3rd Party vendors based on role model operational excellence, with overall accountability on the metrics for service (SLAs. Availability, performance, etc)
Development management with 3Rd Party vendors based on role model development excellence, with overall accountability on metrics for development
Strong collaboration with business to translate business functional requirements into actual practical and working IT solution specifications and assuring high level of satisfaction from the customers
Participate on new design for solutions, services and products together with Business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, Transformational programs, Strategic Functional Capabilities, Business Partnership, etc.
Liaise with the other BCF areas to ensure consistent cross-functional business process design
Providing supervision and guidance to development teams around the current product and services design, assuring the design is protected and the global/mandate processes are secured
Support Operations in complex and high impact issues and problems as they arise.
Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed
Continuously assess the current portfolio and applications lifecycle, assuring the systems have vendor-supported versions and patching, suggesting applications retirement, upgrades or new solutions when necessary. Assessing the systems architecture currently in place (including satellite systems) and working with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure to recommend solutions to improve it
Building and integrating other products and services to meet the company’s needs
Accountable for process and technical knowledge gathering, update and validation of products and services under OTC/PL including documentation/knowledge from external teams that will touch those services and products
Support product manager on lifecycle management for products and services across the markets and locations, considering business priorities, budget, current versions and risks
Assist with change management activities, including releases and production slots

Job Specifications/Qualifications
Good communication, especially in English and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manages multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.
Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
Knowledge/Experience
IT Background
Experience in SAP Application Delivery Services, Solution Architecture, technical leadership or Product Application Management
Extensive experience supporting and evolving complex SAP application Portfolios within global organization
Strong understanding of OTC/PL/WMS – Supply chain Business processes
Experience in establishing technical governance, standards, and application life Cycle management practices
Poven experience in leading technical assessment and technology decision making across multiple portfolio and regions
Strong knowledge on application support, service management and operational excellence within Large enterprise environments.
ITIL, PMI, Agile, DevOps, Scrum, Lean IT certifications will be a plus
Proven leadership and influencing experience with key stakeholders

Language: Fluent in English.
