Job Description:
Plans, implements, and evaluates the operational, supervisory and direct care activities for an assigned cost center. Leads a multi-disciplinary team of professional and support staff in strategic directives and care activities to ensure the assigned department achieves best outcomes for patients, families and staff.
Essential Functions:
Develop and manage operating, capital, and expense budgets; monitor financial performance and spending.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the Abdominal Transplant Clinic
Manage hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development while fostering collaboration across teams.
Oversee clinic scheduling and capacity to improve patient access and reduce wait times.
Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs, policies, and quality initiatives; ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for surveys and emergencies.
Support quality improvement activities through data review, auditing, reporting, and participation on committees and workgroups.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to support safe, high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
Coordinate Epic training and proficiency activities; support system implementations and technology-related projects.

Education Requirement:
BSN, required.
Masters or MSN, preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Certifications:
Leadership or Clinical Specialty, preferred.
Skills:
Competency in nursing clinical practice.
Experience:
5 years of clinical experience as an RN, required. Pediatric experience, preferred.
3 years of nursing leadership, required.
