As our HIM Assistant, you will manage patient health information and medical records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity for patient care. Every day you will retrieve, file, and organize patient records (physical/electronic), ensuring completeness and confidentiality. You'll process information requests, verify identities, assist providers with access, and conduct quality checks on scanned documents. Responsibilities include updating demographics, handling correspondence, and responding to inquiries per privacy regulations.
