Job summary
A forward-moving company seeking an effective production associate to assemble and test product following standard work as part of a team in a work cell environment. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and a keen eye for quality and efficiency, ensuring day-to-day operations meet expectations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain good housekeeping practices and maintain work area to daily housekeeping standards.
Must work effectively with co-workers as a team member and support safe, quality production.
Perform and assist in other tasks as directed by supervision/management.
Inspect general appearance of raw material, work in process and finished product.
Execute standard work instruction with support from others on complex tasks.
Operate and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work.
Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications.
Execute standard work with an acceptable degree of quality and limited quality discrepancies, showing a trend of improvement.
Identify problems in execution of standard work and request help from others on resolution.
Participate in problem solving teams to drive improvements in production performance.
Skills, knowledge and abilities
Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
Proven experience in a production environment.
Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards.
Ability to manage and conduct physical activities as required by the job, including standing for extended periods of time
Education/Experience
Elementary school degree.
