Role Description The Mining Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Korba. The Mining Manager will oversee daily mining operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and coordination with onsite teams and contractors. Responsibilities include implementing mine plans, monitoring extraction activities, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. The role involves optimizing operational efficiency, managing budgets and cost controls, and maintaining accurate reports and documentation. The Mining Manager will also collaborate with geologists, engineers, and senior management to support strategic decisions and long-term mine development.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering to design, implement, and optimize mining operations.
Candidates should possess skills in Mine Safety to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Candidates should possess skills in Budgeting to manage operational costs, resources, and financial planning.
Candidates should possess skills in Geology to understand ore bodies, terrain, and site-specific conditions.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
