Role Description The Principal Solutions Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role focuses on partnering with sales and product teams to design, present, and deliver technical solutions that address customer hiring and verification needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical discovery sessions, building and demonstrating solution prototypes, and translating complex requirements into scalable architectures. The Principal Solutions Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering on integrations, guide customers through implementation and onboarding, and provide ongoing technical support and consulting. The role also involves enabling the sales team with technical collateral, contributing to presales strategy, and gathering feedback from clients to inform product improvements.
Qualifications
Strong Software Development experience, including designing and implementing scalable, API-driven solutions.
Consulting skills to understand client needs, advise on best practices, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Sales and Presales capabilities to support demos, proof-of-concepts, technical presentations, and deal qualification.
Hands-on Integration experience with SaaS platforms, ATS/HR systems, developer tools, and third-party APIs.
Proficiency with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and web technologies.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record in a senior or principal solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or HR tech is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, with strong ownership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
