AWS Architect - W2

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud data architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, data engineering, data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data migration. Experience with modern data platforms, data governance, and Generative AI integration is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data architectures using AWS cloud services.
Build and maintain cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions.
Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
Develop data ingestion, transformation, integration, and orchestration frameworks.
Leverage AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and Step Functions.
Design data processing solutions using Python, SQL, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
Lead on-premises-to-AWS data migration and legacy data platform modernization initiatives.
Develop data models, data integration patterns, and metadata management strategies.
Implement data quality, data lineage, data cataloging, governance, and security standards.
Optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Design secure data access using IAM, encryption, AWS Lake Formation, and appropriate access controls.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, application architects, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Establish best practices for data architecture, documentation, monitoring, and operational support.
Evaluate emerging AWS data services and recommend suitable technologies for enterprise data platforms.
