Schedule: 24 Hours, Evenings, 3p-1130p, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, Part-Time, Benefit Eligible
Position Summary:
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience: 6-12 Months Customer Service or Hospital Experience Preferred
Certification/Licensure: BLS/CPR certification preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range:
$17.92- $26.63
