Head of Affiliates

Our client, an international B2C iGaming operator, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Affiliates to lead and develop its affiliate marketing strategy and operations for the Brazilian market.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of the affiliate function, including affiliate acquisition, relationship management, strategic partnerships, commercial negotiations, performance optimisation, and overall channel profitability.
This is a senior leadership position requiring extensive experience within the B2C iGaming industry, an established network of affiliate partners in Brazil, and a proven track record of building and scaling successful affiliate programmes that deliver sustainable player acquisition and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy for the Brazilian market, aligned with the company's commercial objectives and growth targets.
Take full ownership of the affiliate function, including partner acquisition, onboarding, account management, performance optimisation, and commercial development.
Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing affiliate team, establishing clear objectives, performance standards, and operational processes.
Identify, recruit, and establish long-term relationships with high-performing affiliates, media partners, comparison websites, influencers, and other relevant acquisition partners.
Leverage an established network of affiliate contacts within the Brazilian iGaming industry to accelerate market growth and expand the operator's reach.
Negotiate and manage affiliate commercial agreements, including CPA, revenue share, hybrid deals, and other performance-based arrangements.
Develop strategies to maximise affiliate-driven player acquisition, first-time depositors, player quality, lifetime value, and overall channel profitability.
Monitor and optimise affiliate performance, ensuring effective partner segmentation, campaign management, and resource allocation.
Manage affiliate budgets and commercial expenditure, ensuring sustainable acquisition costs and strong returns on investment.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including FTDs, CPA, conversion rates, NGR, LTV, ROI, and affiliate contribution to overall revenue.
Oversee affiliate tracking, attribution, reporting, and payment processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Identify new affiliate acquisition opportunities, partnerships, traffic sources, and emerging trends within the Brazilian market.
Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Product, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Compliance teams to maximise affiliate channel performance.
Develop effective affiliate promotional strategies, campaigns, and incentives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Monitor competitor affiliate programmes, commercial structures, and market developments to maintain a competitive proposition.
Ensure all affiliate activities and partner promotions comply with applicable Brazilian gambling regulations, advertising requirements, responsible gaming standards, and internal policies.
Provide regular performance reports, commercial forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Extensive experience in affiliate marketing and business development within the B2C iGaming industry, preferably with an online casino and/or sportsbook operator.
Proven experience in a senior affiliate leadership position, such as Head of Affiliates, Affiliate Director, Head of Affiliate Marketing, or an equivalent role.
Direct experience managing affiliate operations targeting the Brazilian B2C iGaming market is essential.
An established and active network of affiliate partners, publishers, media groups, and relevant industry contacts within Brazil.
Demonstrated success in developing, managing, and scaling profitable affiliate programmes within competitive iGaming markets.
Strong understanding of the Brazilian affiliate landscape, local player acquisition channels, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
Extensive experience negotiating and managing CPA, revenue share, hybrid, and other affiliate commercial agreements.
Proven ability to manage affiliate teams, budgets, commercial partnerships, and overall channel performance.
Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, with a thorough understanding of affiliate KPIs, acquisition costs, player value, and profitability.
Experience with affiliate management and tracking platforms, reporting tools, and performance analytics.
Excellent relationship management, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to identify and develop new commercial opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to combine strategic planning and hands-on commercial execution.
Good understanding of affiliate compliance, responsible gaming, advertising restrictions, and applicable Brazilian regulatory requirements.
Fluent English is mandatory. Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable.
