Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of storage infrastructure, including deployment, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning, and incident response.
Operate and maintain cloud-native storage solutions in Kubernetes environments.
Support storage infrastructure built on OpenStack, Rook, and Ceph.
Monitor storage performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure infrastructure reliability and availability.
Work with storage hardware and technologies, including HDDs, NVMe devices, and host-level storage components.
Apply strong software engineering skills to investigate and resolve low-level system and storage-related issues.
Required Skills and Experience
Hands-on experience with OpenStack.
Practical experience with Rook and Ceph.
Experience operating at least one enterprise storage solution, such as NetApp, Pure Storage, or Ceph.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
Good understanding of storage hardware, including HDDs, NVMe devices, and host-level components.
Proven software engineering experience in at least one of the following areas: Linux Kernel, MySQL, PostgreSQL, filesystems, or Ceph.
Strong knowledge of C/C++ or low-level programming concepts, including dynamic memory management, malloc, and data structures.
Ability to write efficient, maintainable code and understand memory allocation and system-level performance.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on Kubernetes and storage infrastructure expertise with strong low-level engineering skills. They should be comfortable working across cloud-native platforms, storage systems, and software internals to solve complex technical challenges.
