AWS Bedrock AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior to Lead level AI/ML Engineer to suport the design, development and integration of AI capabilities in an enterprise environment.

This Senior or Lead‑level AI/ML Engineer will support the design, development, and integration of AI capabilities within an AWS‑centric ecosystem. This role will focus on building and operating MCP servers, optimizing small language models (SLMs), and enabling agent‑based workflows aligned to near‑term (Q2) use cases. Engineers will work hands‑on with requirements, documentation, configurations, and multiple data sources to design scalable AI services. The role also involves supporting data traversal and transformations, integrating with Snowflake‑backed pipelines, and ensuring solutions align with existing AWS hosting and integration patterns (including AWS Bedrock). Candidates must be local to India and able to work onsite 3 days per week
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering
Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, including AWS Bedrock
Experience building and managing MCP servers
Exposure to LLMs, ML models, and AI system architecture
Strong Python programming skills
*Experience working on at least 1–2 AI/ML projects
*Experience with data processing, transformations, and Snowflake
*Ability to work from office 3 days per week (India)
Day-to-Day:
Design and implement Knowledge Graph pipelines using industrial structured and unstructured data
Develop AI architectures that combine graph reasoning and generative AI capabilities
Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems for complex decision-making workflows • Architect and manage graph database environments
Develop scalable, reusable, research-grade Python applications
Extract and synthesize information from heterogeneous data sources
Collaborate with cross-functional research and engineering teams
Transform advanced research concepts into industrial prototypes and production-ready solutions
Support AI-driven insights and reasoning for energy and cyber-physical systems
Required Skills & Experience
Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, AI, Knowledge Representation, Reasoning, or related field
Expertise building Knowledge Graphs from structured and unstructured data
Experience integrating graph-based reasoning with Generative AI
Proven experience designing and deploying multi-agent workflows
Hands-on experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent
Advanced Python development skills, including writing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality code
Willingness to travel at least 2 weeks per year
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with multimodal data (text, imagery, time-series data, code repositories)
Knowledge of cyber-physical systems • Understanding of industrial control systems (ICS)
Strong technical communication and presentation skills
Experience leading or contributing to advanced research initiatives
Background in industrial AI, energy, or infrastructure environments

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
