We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineering professional to contribute to the development and evaluation of advanced artificial intelligence systems. In this fully remote, contract-based role, you will leverage your technical expertise to design realistic engineering challenges that test AI models against real-world industry standards and workflows. Your work will span mechanical design, CAD modeling, manufacturing processes, engineering calculations, and simulation analysis. You will develop technical assessments, validate engineering solutions, and identify design flaws, calculation errors, and manufacturing constraints. Working alongside technical contributors, you will help establish reliable reference solutions and objective evaluation criteria that improve the accuracy and practical capabilities of AI systems.
