SAP IS-U FICA Functional Consultant

Location : Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP IS-U FICA (Financial Contract Accounting) processes.
Configure and manage Main Transactions and Sub Transactions.
Design and maintain payment hierarchies, payment processing, and clearing rules.
Configure and support Dunning procedures and collection processes.
Manage Security Deposit processes including creation, adjustment, refund, and settlement.
Handle Open Item Management, account balancing, and reconciliation activities.
Configure tax determination and related billing/accounting processes.
Implement and support Installment Plans, payment arrangements, and deferred payment processes.
Manage returns, refunds, write-offs, and reversal scenarios.
Perform gap analysis and propose functional solutions aligned with business requirements.
Conduct Functional Unit Testing (FUT), integration testing, and support UAT activities.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts.
Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide production support and resolve business process issues.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FICA configuration and support.
Expertise in Main/Sub Transactions, Open Item Management, and Clearing Processes.
Experience with Dunning, Collections, Security Deposits, and Payment Processing.
Knowledge of Installment Plans, Returns, Refunds, and Write-Off processes.
Understanding of tax-related configurations within SAP IS-U FICA.
Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting testing activities.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
