Order to Cash Manager, Europe (6 months contract position)

We are seeking an experienced Order-to-Cash (OTC) Manager/ Lead
with a pharmaceutical industry background and expertise in 3PL operations, supply chain collaboration, and a solid finance background. The role is heavily focused on cash collection, accounts receivable management, working capital optimization, and oversight of European commercial discount programs. The successful candidate will build and improve OTC processes from the ground up while partnering with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Logistics teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end OTC processes including order management, invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute management, and customer account reconciliation.
Drive cash collection performance, reduce overdue receivables, and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
Manage customer deductions, rebates, discounts, chargebacks, and credit note processes across European markets.
Work closely with 3PL providers to ensure alignment between physical product flows and financial transactions.
Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales teams to resolve order-to-cash issues and improve customer experience.
Establish and optimize OTC processes, controls, KPIs, and reporting from the ground up.
Support revenue management, working capital planning, and financial risk assessment.
Provide accurate cash collection forecasts and accounts receivable reporting.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, or Commercial Finance.
Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Proven experience working with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers.
Deep understanding of supply chain, inventory movements, distribution processes, and customer fulfillment models.
Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including AR, revenue recognition, credit management, and working capital optimization.
Hands-on experience with European discount, rebate, pricing, and deduction management processes.
Experience implementing or improving OTC processes and systems in complex organizations.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms.

This is a contractor role with the potential to convert to an FTE position after 6–12 months.
