Financial Controller (F/M)

We are looking for a Controller to join our Greek finance team and take ownership of day-to-day controlling. You will combine hands-on controllership with close oversight of our operating assets, working closely with the finance manager and the headquarters finance and accounting team.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DELIVERABLES:
Own the daily bank reconciliation process and monitor cash balances to maintain full liquidity visibility.
Support monthly and quarterly closing activities.
Manage shareholder loan accounting, including balances, interest calculations and supporting documentation.
Own the reconciliation framework in the ERP, ensuring ledgers, sub-ledgers and bank accounts are accurate and reconciled.
Manage finance purchase orders.
Maintain accounting and loan documentation.
Run the day-to-day financial operation of operating assets: billing checks, invoicing, coordination with Energy Management, and updating production actuals and forecasts.
Support payment approvals through internal portal.
Perform ad hoc accounting and finance tasks.
Personal Experience and skills:
University Degree in Accounting or Finance
Advanced MS Excel skills
More than 5 years of experience in controlling, ideally in energy.
Working experience with IFRS will be considered as a plus
Familiarization with an ERP tool (SAP) is desirable
Ability to respect deadlines in a dynamic environment
Fluent in English
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Positive and learning attitude
