Are you a highly experienced Verification & Validation leader looking for your next challenge? We are expanding our embedded software team and seeking a Senior Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to drive activities for safety-critical aerospace and UAS applications.
Location: Bangalore
Experience: Senior (7+ Years)
What you will be doing:
Leading and executing V&V activities in strict compliance with DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, and MIL-STD standards.
Performing requirements-based testing, structural coverage analysis (including MC/DC), and executing HIL/SIL testing.
Supporting DER (Designated Engineering Representative) reviews and contributing directly to SAS and PSAC documentation.
Developing automated test scripts in C, C++, or Python, and managing HIL simulation setups.
Mentoring junior V&V engineers and providing technical input from the requirements phase right through to certification.
What you bring to the table:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of embedded software V&V experience, including a minimum of 5 years specifically in aerospace, UAS, or other safety-critical domains.
Proven, demonstrated experience working on DAL A, B, or C software certification projects.
Deep proficiency with V&V tools (like RTRT), requirements management (DOORS, Polarion, Jama), and defect tracking systems (JIRA).
A strong understanding of RTOS environments and communication protocols such as ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and CAN.
