The Health Data & Quality Coordinator coordinates data management, reporting and quality improvement at WCHC. Working with the Director, Finance & Operations and teams across our sites, this role makes sure clinical and operational data are accurate, organized and ready to support decisions, funder reporting, accreditation and ongoing improvement. The Coordinator maintains data quality in our EMR (PS Suite), prepares reports and dashboards, helps staff use data and take part in quality improvement work, and helps WCHC adopt digital tools responsibly, including cloud-based platforms and artificial intelligence (AI). Woolwich Community Health Centre is responsible for program and service delivery to clients who are residents of Woolwich, Wellesley, and Wilmot Townships.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Health Administration, Epidemiology, or a related field.
Training in quality improvement methods (e.g., IDEAS Ontario, Lean/Six Sigma, IHI). A professional designation (e.g., CHIM, CPHIMS-CA) would be an asset.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with health care and patient data, preferably in primary care.
EMR experience required; PS Suite experience strongly preferred, including searches, queries, custom forms and stamps.
Experience supporting quality improvement projects (e.g., QIP data collection, PDSA cycles, process mapping).
Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools would be an asset.
Experience using AI tools at work and an interest in their responsible use in health care.
Working knowledge of PHIPA, privacy, and data governance principles.
Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences and to help staff with documentation and data entry.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of Ontario health system reporting (e.g., Ontario Health, OHRS/MIS, MSAA) would be an asset.
Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
Woolwich Community Health Centre is committed to employment equity and providing equal opportunity for people with disabilities. We encourage applications from people representing the diverse communities we serve, and if requested, we modify our recruitment and hiring processes to make accommodations that are responsive to applicants’ needs.
