Junior Analyst (6 months internship)

Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Actuarial Valuations team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will be working as part of a team supporting more experienced analysts and project managers in all aspects of the Pension Plans & Retirement area.
We will count on you to:
Request, gather, review and upload client data, and assist in the preparation of actuarial valuations, participant statements and/or client listings and perform required financial analyses using proprietary and vended software;
Reconcile data and assets from previous valuations and prepare summaries of data, assets, and benefits defined in the plan documentation;
Escalates data or plan questions related to valuations and benefit calculations to more senior analysts;
Helps prepare government forms and our regulatory documentation;
Perform Actuarial calculations;
Collaboration with client team and project team;
Ensure projects are delivered on-time and to the high standards required.
What you need to have:
Bachelors or Master’s in Actuarial, Mathematics, Economics, Management, Biology, Finance, Engineering or similar.
Fluent English level (B2/C1).
Attention to detail is critical.
Strong problem solving skills & ability to clearly articulate complex issues.
Excellent planning and organizational skills in order to prioritize and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks, in order to meet the multiple deadlines.
Proactive and goal oriented.
