Maintenance Manager – CNC Machining Services

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager – CNC Machining Services to lead an on-site maintenance team supporting industrial CNC machining equipment in Decatur, Illinois, while serving as the primary point of contact for the customer's maintenance and production teams.
This position is expected to begin in November 2026 for an initial 12-month project assignment.
Schedule: Weekend-Focused, 40+ Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of four mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for CNC machinery and automatic tool-changing systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CNC control issues.
Coordinate maintenance schedules, equipment readiness, and operational priorities.
Communicate directly with the customer and provide maintenance reports.
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, including LOTO procedures.
Requirements
5+ years of industrial CNC machine maintenance experience.
3+ years of maintenance team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of CNC systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with preventive maintenance planning and CMMS software.
Professional English proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
Ability to work on-site in Decatur, IL, including weekends.
Valid U.S. work authorization.
Preferred: Experience with Siemens/Fanuc controls, gear-machining equipment, and industrial manufacturing environments. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $35.00–$55.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule & Benefits
Saturday and Sunday: 12-hour shifts each day.
Remaining hours scheduled during the week (minimum 40 hours/week).
Additional overtime may be required based on project needs.
