Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Consultant role based in Raipur. The Interior Design Consultant will meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget, and translate these into practical design concepts. Responsibilities include preparing layout plans, recommending furniture and décor, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and overseeing implementation to ensure designs are executed as planned. The role involves guiding clients through design options, presenting mood boards and material samples, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from initial consultation to project completion. The consultant will also support showroom interactions, contribute to sales through design-led recommendations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and products.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to understand client needs and provide clear, professional guidance.
Candidates should possess solid Interior Design skills, including space planning, color coordination, material selection, and an eye for detail.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to effectively present design proposals, handle objections, and support conversion of inquiries into confirmed projects.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Furniture, including styles, materials, and configurations suitable for different spaces and budgets.
Relevant qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field are beneficial, along with proficiency in basic design tools or software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
Ability to work on-site in Raipur, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
Prior experience in interior design consulting, showroom design, or home décor retail is an advantage.
