Housekeeping Supervisor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Supervisor role based in Giridih. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area upkeep, and laundry coordination. The role includes assigning tasks to housekeeping team members, monitoring work quality, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards. The supervisor will handle inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinate maintenance requests, and support training and development of housekeeping staff. The position also involves interacting with guests, responding to service requests, and collaborating with other departments to maintain high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead teams, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
Candidates should possess solid Housekeeping expertise, including knowledge of cleaning procedures, room standards, and safety practices.
Candidates should possess Laundry-related skills to manage linen flow, garment care, and coordination with laundry services.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in hotel housekeeping supervision, familiarity with hospitality industry standards, basic computer literacy for reporting, and the ability to work flexible schedules.
