Dental Assistant - Dr Dr J A Chau Dental Surgeons

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, patient care and comfort, infection control, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Your Role Will Involve:
Assisting dentists and dental hygienists in a variety of treatment procedures.
Setting up and sterilising dental instruments and equipment.
Managing patient care, from providing instructions to ensuring comfort.
Contributing to the maintenance of health and safety standards.
What we are looking for:
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
Friendly and approachable, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
Well organised, with good time management skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
Comfortable using computers and learning practice management systems.
Reliable, motivated and committed to creating a welcoming experience for patients.
Hold a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or be willing to obtain one.
