Senior Labware IT Systems Specialist, QC Applications

Be the backbone of QC digital operations. You’ll lead the operations and continuous improvement of Labware LIMS and Waters Empower, ensuring reliability, compliance, and value across a dynamic, regulated environment, aligning stakeholders, shaping best practices, and driving upgrades that keep our labs inspection-ready and future-proof.
About The Position
As the senior analyst for our QC applications, you will operate and maintain systems in your domain, especially Labware LIMS and Empower, while ensuring compliance with cGMP, GAMP, and internal QMS.
You will:
Provide second-line support; develop and maintain a knowledge base for first-line support; promote best practices and standardization.
Drive smaller projects end-to-end (e.g., upgrades, optimizations), and act as technical lead in global IT and compliance initiatives.
Maintain validated state across the lifecycle: author/approve validation and IT QMS documentation, support testing and change control.
Ensure reliability, availability, and security of systems; apply ITIL/ITSM practices; document/refine processes for operational efficiency.
Build strong partnerships with QC/QA and global IT; anticipate needs, deliver high-quality service, and implement continuous improvements.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
You combine deep QC applications expertise with disciplined ITSM and a passion for compliant, scalable operations.
Required:
10+ years in IT operations/maintenance, ideally in pharma; strong cGMP, GAMP, and ISO experience; regulated environment know-how.
Proven administration experience with Labware LIMS and Waters Empower.
Demonstrated ITIL/ITSM practice adherence; strong documentation skills (validation, QMS, SOPs).
Project management experience delivering upgrades/changes on time and budget.
Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination; fluent English communication.
Quality-minded, structured, analytical; able to prioritize and work autonomously with high accountability.
Preferred:
Labware LIMS and/or Waters Empower administration certifications.
Experience with QC and QA processes; understanding data integrity and audit readiness.
Familiarity with DoE/statistics and automation in production environments.
Track record improving processes, simplifying workflows, and transferring knowledge to peers/business.

The team manages a portfolio of laboratory applications, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, and in a validated state.
