Key Responsibilities
2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or SOC.
Experience in analysis, investigation, and incident response (Level 2).
Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR technologies, and security monitoring platforms.
Knowledge of threat hunting, MITRE ATT&CK, and detection techniques.
Solid knowledge of networks, systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Analytical skills, ability to work independently, and incident resolution skills.
Degree in Computer Science, Systems, Telecommunications, or Cybersecurity.
Desirable skills:
Microsoft Security technologies: Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID, and KQL.
Other equivalent technologies: Splunk, QRadar, Elastic, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Sophos, Palo Alto, etc.
PowerShell, Python, SOAR, and automation.
Preferred certifications:
CompTIA Security+ / CySA+.
Cisco CyberOps / CCNA.
Microsoft SC-200 and other Microsoft Security/Azure certifications.
Vendor certifications: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, CrowdStrike, etc.
Other cybersecurity certifications such as eJPT, GIAC/SANS, CISSP, or CISM.
