JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Customer Experience Associates are an essential ingredient to the success of our leagues. They go above and beyond each and every day to provide exceptional customer service to our players. We are currently looking for responsible, reliable, and outgoing individuals to act as Customer Experience Associates for JAM!
Specifically:
Retaining current players with exceptional customer service (via email, phone, live chat and in-person)
Selling of leagues and programs to individuals and captains
Executing of leagues/events, ensuring all games run smoothly and efficiently
Establishing a relationship with players and the community to support our growing brand
Assisting with equipment, part-time staff and end of season awards nights
Assisting with walk-in member traffic
Helping solve discipline and injury issues that may arise during game play
Engaging with players each and every shift to ensure they are having the best possible experience before, during, and after game
QUALIFICATIONS
High Energy
Extremely upbeat and positive, with their own flair and personality!
Willingness to approach and chat with players and maintain these positive relationships.

Taking care of the little details first makes putting on a big show easy!
Must have incredible attention to detail and be a quick learner!
Go Getter
Be confident and motivated to call on and/or meet/work/deal with players, head office staff, and facility staff.
Hardworking attitude. You are known for taking initiative.
Think Outside the Box Mentality
We’re not looking for mediocre and old-school here. We want someone who has fresh ideas, can work on their own without being micromanaged, and is good at developing and maintaining relationships.
Perfectly Seasoned
We are looking for someone who has past experience in customer service.
Well Spoken & Written
It goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway. You’ll need to have strong self-monitoring skills and strong public speaking skills.
You will need to be able to clearly articulate and communicate to players on a day to day basis.
Knowledge of a wide variety of sports rules and formats is an asset!
Quick On Your Feet
Confidence in your ability to take control of a situation with a flair for being resourceful.
Strengths in planning, customer service, decision making, and creative problem solving.
EXPECTED HOURS
You will be working approximately 8-16 hours per week; this can fluctuate depending on department needs
Shifts will be available between 4:00pm-12:00am EDT Monday-Friday and Saturday/Sunday between 9:00am-11:00pm EDT
COMPENSATION
All of our Customer Experience Associates earn $17.95 CAD per hour to start. We have created a very clear hourly increase plan that showcases how you can achieve future hourly rate increases based on the number of shifts you have worked. The increases will be reflected starting the pay period after you hit the specific shift milestone.
Base Rate = $17.95 CAD
50 Shifts = $18.55 CAD
100 Shifts = $19.79 CAD
200 Shifts = $20.71 CAD
300 Shifts = $21.63 CAD
400 shifts = $22.55 CAD
Part Time Teammates also have the opportunity to participate in all of our tournaments at no charge (please note: that to be eligible to play in a tournament for free you must have a regular shift in the current season).
Part-Time Staff League Play Credit Program - This program recognizes your commitment and rewards you with quarterly league credits once you hit key shift milestones that can be used towards JAM league play.
After 25 Shifts Completed - $100 credit
After 50 Shifts Completed - $150 credit
After 100 Shifts Completed - $200 credit
