Sr. Android Developer
Location: Remote initially, then Hybrid; relocation to Bentonville, AR required for a hybrid schedule beginning February 1, 2027
Duration: 6+Months Contract-to-Hire (C2H)
Interview Process: 3 rounds, all virtual
Ex-Walmart, FAANG, MANGO, Magnificent 7, Software Product Companies, and Major Ecommerce Giants are preferred, but this is a nice-to-have
Important: The position is remote initially through January 31, 2027. Starting February 1, 2027, the consultant must be willing to relocate to Bentonville, Arkansas, and work on a hybrid schedule. This requirement is firm and will be confirmed during the interview process.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale mobile applications.
Hands-on experience consuming and integrating GraphQL APIs.
Experience working with Node.js-based backend services.
Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack libraries, and mobile architecture patterns.
Experience with RESTful services, asynchronous programming, and network optimization.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing practices.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing customer-facing applications in retail, eCommerce, loyalty, or membership platforms.
Prior Walmart, Sam's Club, or large-scale retail experience.
Experience with modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum product teams.
Exposure to cloud-native and microservices environments.
Understanding of analytics, personalization, recommendations, or customer engagement features.
