Senior Regional Manager
The Senior Regional Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for a portfolio of multifamily communities and Regional Managers. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, operational excellence, client satisfaction, and organizational growth. The Senior Regional Manager serves as a mentor to Regional Managers, leads complex ownership relationships, supports business development initiatives, and ensures consistent execution of company standards across multiple markets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Directly supervise, coach, and develop Regional Managers while promoting accountability and leadership growth.
Partner with Regional Managers to develop succession plans for key positions.
Lead performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and talent development.
Support recruiting efforts for Regional Manager and Community Manager positions.
Foster collaboration and consistency across portfolios and regions.
Champion company culture, diversity, engagement, and leadership initiatives.
Assist in onboarding and mentoring newly hired Regional Managers.
Strategic Portfolio Management
Provide strategic oversight for a large and/or complex portfolio of assets.
Identify operational trends and implement portfolio-wide initiatives that improve NOI, occupancy, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Ensure Regional Managers execute company policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
