About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

East Bank Club is seeking a motivated Registered Dietitian to provide individualized nutrition counseling to EBC members in a luxury health club environment.
This is an appointment-based, commission-only position designed for a dietitian who wants flexibility while building a nutrition practice within EBC. The dietitian will provide high-quality nutrition services to members and help grow the club's nutrition business through exceptional service, follow-up, and member relationships. The position is intentionally structured around member demand rather than guaranteed hours. When appointments are not booked, the dietitian may close their schedule and leave rather than remain onsite.
Pay Rate: 70% commission on collected revenue for eligible nutrition services personally provided by the dietitian. For bundled programs containing services provided by multiple departments, the commissionable amount will be based on the designated nutrition portion of the package, not the total package price. Commission is paid on completed and collected eligible services in accordance with EBC payroll policies.
Schedule:
Two afternoon/evening availability blocks per week and/or 1 weekend day
Recommended availability: Monday/Wednesday 3:30 – 7:30 pm and/or 1 weekend day
Approximately 8-12 hours of scheduled availability per week
Schedule may be adjusted based on member demand
Unbooked time may be closed according to EBC scheduling guidelines
Additional hours may be added as the client base grows
No minimum number of paid hours or appointments is guaranteed
The goal is to provide members with consistent access to a dietitian while allowing the schedule to flex with actual demand. As demand grows, the schedule and availability can grow with it.
Primary Responsibilities:
Nutrition Services
Manage member caseloads independently, conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop tailored nutrition care plans and monitoring progress with minimal direct supervision.
Develop practical, personalized nutrition strategies based on each member's goals
Provide nutrition guidance related to general wellness, performance, weight management, healthy aging, and lifestyle
Conduct follow-up appointments and adjust recommendations as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
Provide a high level of professionalism and member service consistent with the EBC experience
Take time to understand the member rather than provide a one-size-fits-all approach
Be responsive and professional in all communication
Member Engagement & Business Development
Build strong relationships with EBC members
Convert initial appointments into ongoing nutrition relationships
Collaborate with Fitness departments when appropriate
Develop a strong referral network within EBC
Promote nutrition services through appropriate member interactions
The position is designed to be self-sustaining through client revenue.
The dietitian will be expected to actively build their EBC client base through:
Excellent service
Member referrals
Follow-up
Converting introductory nutrition appointments into ongoing clients
The Dietitian should not expect EBC to provide a consistently full schedule. The expectation is that the dietitian will help build demand and grow their business within the club. The primary measure of success is revenue and member engagement generated through nutrition services, rather than hours spent onsite.

Registered Dietitian credentialed to practice in Illinois
