6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably working on complex, enterprise-scale applications. Strong hands-on Python development experience as the primary backend skill, with experience developing backend applications and services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or equivalent. Good understanding of REST APIs, object-oriented programming, error handling, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Working knowledge of Java as a secondary backend skill, with the ability to understand, debug, modify, and enhance Java applications. Experience with Java/Spring Boot or equivalent Java frameworks is preferred as part of the secondary Java skill set. Full-stack development exposure with React, Angular, or an equivalent modern UI framework as a secondary skill. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean coding practices, application design, and production troubleshooting. Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, drive technical tasks and projects, and take accountability for delivery and outcomes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders. Experience working in Agile delivery environments, with exposure to development, code reviews, testing, releases, and production-quality software delivery.
