Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Full Stack Java Engineer with AI. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining web applications across the front-end and back-end, with a focus on Java-based services and integration with AI-powered features. Responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, collaborating with product and design teams, and contributing to scalable, secure, and maintainable code. The engineer will assist in integrating AI models and services into the platform, troubleshoot issues, participate in code reviews, and help improve performance and reliability. Daily work will include working in agile sprints, documenting technical solutions, and learning from senior engineers to grow full-stack and AI development skills.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, ideally with experience in Java and RESTful services.
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), including building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive, production-ready applications.
Familiarity with AI concepts and APIs, and an interest in applying machine learning or AI-driven features in web applications.
Basic experience with relational or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and debugging tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Eagerness to learn new technologies, follow clean coding practices, and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
