Project Control Specialist

We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support capital projects through project scheduling, cost analysis, work order creation, and project reporting. This role will work closely with Project Managers and project stakeholders to maintain accurate project schedules, track costs, support forecasting, and provide project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain capital project schedules and validate project scope with Project ManagersDefine project critical paths and ensure schedules align with project cash flowProvide project cost analysis, management reporting, and other project controls supportCreate and execute project work orders in accordance with corporate standards using SAP S/4HANACoordinate with Project Managers and stakeholders to collect and validate regular project updatesProvide individual, plant, and regional project reporting on a regular basisApply Work Breakdown Structures and project controls processes to support effective project executionUtilize project controls metrics, including Earned Value Analysis, Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI)Support workflow auditing, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiativesAssist Project Managers with forecasting project expenditures and identifying schedule or cost impactsSupport the development and expansion of project schedules and recommend additional resources as needed
Requirements3+ years of relevant experience using scheduling software, cost control tools, project controls systems, or similar platforms preferredExperience with capital project scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, or project controlsSAP S/4HANA ExperienceFamiliarity with Work Breakdown Structures, Earned Value Analysis, CPI, SPI, and project controls metricsStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
